Birchwood Angels £85.00

Angel candleholders made from silver birch wood.
Being approximately 300mm high and 250mm from front to back and 100mm thick. They are made to hang from a thread.

The candleholder is made of brass and takes a birthday cake sized candle. The holder is removable for cleaning and re-loading the candle. The beeswax candles burn for about 15 minutes and it shouldn't need me to say that it's a bad idea to leave the candle burning as the angels are NOT flameproofed

The angels are made while the wood is still 'green'. It's much easier to split and carve, as when birch dries out, it's as hard as horn!
No sandpaper, stain or varnish is used; it's just cut wood.

Sorry about the price, but they each take about 2 days to make.
