Small wooden dolls being 7-8 inches or 175mm high

These dolls came about by accident! It started by me wondering how small I could make an articulated figure and the results are above right and the trio I've called the Three Graces.
These took far longer to make than I intended and I doubt if I'll do any more;

As a result of this, I thought I'd try to do something really simple and quick. Of course they were neither, but the turned 'peg' dolls with the twig legs (like ballerinas) were the most fun.
The other dolls were made with a face that was carved back from a turned profile and made with standing up feet.
I decided to paint some and tried clothing a few with scraps. So they can be offered in various stages of completion and at a variety of price. However they are NOT suitable for the very young or pets tempted by a novelty snack.
