Coloured Angels

These have all been sold, but I will probably make some more for Christmas 2012

A few carved and painted wooden angels measuring approximately 230mm from front to back, 230mm high and 100mm wide.

The angel is holding a decorated 'wand' lit with a single warm white LED lamp. The battery and on-off switch are in the base of the figure. The light is pretty weedy, but just about enough to light up a dark corner and seems to burn at 'full' for a couple of days (continuously) then get more and more feeble for about two weeks. It takes a CR2032 coin cell battery
Two of the figures are white, one being only painted with white gesso and the other(like the one to the left) being painted with green gesso first, then white over.
For the others, I did each in a different colour, being insufficiently influenced by the early 15c Florentine painters like Lorenzo Monaco.
They are all painted with L&B Flashe paints.
